1.
What is InstantIT's returns policy?
InstantIT has a 7 day product return policy. All inward freight will be the responsibility of the sender. InstantIT will not cover the cost of inward freight.
2.
How do I return a product
Contact Returns Department at
returns@instantit.com.au
to obtain a Return Authorisation Number. RA numbers for warranty and credit returns are valid for 14 working days only. Returns will not be accepted without a valid RA number.
Once an RA has been raised you will be advised this and also the return address. Return the product to the return address provieded, with the RA number clearly written on a sticky label on the outside of the shipping carton (do not write directly onto the carton). All products returned for credit must be in pristine, unopened condition with all seals intact.
InstantIT recommends returns be sent by registered or certified mail or a reliable courier. InstantIT accepts no responsibility for loss or damage occurring in transit or return.
3.
How long does it take for returns to be processed
Any refunds will not be paid until such time as goods returned have been receipted in our warehouse and inspected.
4.
How will I be refunded
Once the return is inspected and completed, a direct deposit into your nominated bank account for the refund amount excluding any restocking fees, freight or other costs will be made.
5.

Shipping
1.
What delivery options does InstantIT use?
We use commercial couriers selected by our suppliers. To keep our margins low to give you the best prices and to eliminate unnecessary handling, we ship direct from the supplier to your door. This means Australia Post is not an option. The best freight options (minimum price) will be chosen for you on checkout.
2.
How do I calculate the cost of delivery for my Order?
At any time, after placing items in your basket, enter your postcode and click the Estimate Freight button. This will indicate your freight charge as a summary line in the basket, before going to checkout.
3.
How is freight calculated?
Freight is calculated by the weight of the goods selected and the postcode to where they are being shipped. Note that there is also the possibility that your goods selected need to come from different suppliers, so this will incur additional freight charges.
4.
Why is the delivery cost for some small item too high?
Most commercial couriers have a minimum weight and minimum box size that attracts a standard freight charge. Because we don't use Australia Post, see above, the minimum charges apply.
5.
Why does InstantIT not use Australia Post?
We use commercial couriers selected by our suppliers. To keep our margins low to give you the best prices and to eliminate unnecessary handling, we ship direct from the supplier to your door. This means Australia Post is not an option. The best freight options (minimum price) will be chosen for you on checkout.
6.
Why am I charged two or three times the "normal" freight charge?
To keep our margins low to give you the best prices and to eliminate unnecessary handling, we do not hold any stock at InstantIT and we ship direct from the supplier to your door. This means that sometimes the combination of goods on your order requires shipments from a number of suppliers that may be in different cities. The freight charged reflects the number of separate supplier shipments.
7.
Can I order online and pickup the goods from your Queen St address?
To keep our margins low to give you the best prices and to eliminate unnecessary handling, we do not hold any stock at InstantIT. It is not possible to collect from our Queen St address, freight exempt. If you choose to ship to our address and get the item held for collection, you will still be charged freight to our address. Items not collected after 3 months will be re-sold.
8.
Does InstantIT offer International delivery?
We do not ship internationallly. We only ship to Australian postcodes.
